The Divine and Tenacious Passion of an Industrious Filmmaker in the 21st Century is a project born out of a great love for film and a deep frustration with the industry that surrounds it. As we follow our protagonist on his journey from Production Assistant to blockbuster filmmaker, we hope to express our own frustrations and worries as young artists trying to succeed in a creative yet punishing industry.
Working on a film set can feel a lot like a fever dream, where time, logic, and reason are thrown to the wind. We tried to capture this feeling through highly choreographed and improvised moments coordinated by our cast and crew based on their own personal experiences working in the film industry. In fact, just about every crew member involved in the film’s production was able to make an appearance in the film.
